Apply Damage Api not working

I've tried having group check work with Apply Damage script.  After days of trying to debug, I can't figure out why my Apply Damage script isn't working.  I've followed the Github script with Apply Damage script and group check.  Group check works, the Apply Damage shows up underlined by not highlighted or a working button to Apply Damage.  Can someone assist me?

I used it tonight without issue. Try this macro: !group-check {{ --hideformula --public --?{Which Save Stat|Strength,Strength Save|Dexterity,Dexterity Save|Constitution,Constitution Save|Intelligence,Intelligence Save|Wisdom,Wisdom Save|Charisma,Charisma Save} --process --subheader vs DC ?{DC} --button ApplyDamage !apply-damage ~dmg [[?{Damage}]] ~type ?{Damage on Save|Half,half|None,none} ~DC ?{DC} ~saves RESULTS(,) ~ids IDS(,) }}

This may not apply to you, but in my case it wasn't obvious (to me) that the words **"Apply Damage"** at the bottom of the report are what one is supposed to click on. I found the problem.  It conflicted with combat master.
