Cliffscrape is a sleepy coastal town on the eastern shores of Khorvaire, a union of dwarven and orcish culture whose safety hangs delicately in the balance. Between fierce orc raiders to the west, greedy Lhazaar pirates to the east, and creeping nightmare spirits to the north, Cliffscrape is in desperate need of protection. Through a stroke of luck the players will find themselves responsible for the people of Cliffscrape, requiring them to build defenses and rally the town's militia against all kinds of threats. Using "Strongholds & Followers" the party will gradually upgrade Cliffscrape to better defend itself while they're off delving into dwarven dungeons or sailing the high seas in search of gold to funnel back into their community. Unknown to Cliffscrape and even greater Khorvaire, an unseen threat brews beneath the waves: a force that watches Cliffscrape with fascination and plans to threaten even the safety of Eberron itself...
