Ability to share adventures/campaigns with the community

So after spending approximately 40 hours learning roll20.net and putting together a single (large) map with dynamic lighting, monsters and their associated character sheets and tokens, GM layer for traps and such - it occurs to me that given this is a pre-made adventure (hence the map being already available through fan art), surely others would be interested in having a ready-made adventure available for use? I think this would be great for opening up your site to wider audiences - please tell me you're already looking at it?! :) Relatedly, being able to (bulk) import/export at least macros, character sheets and associated images would make life so much easier for those who would prefer to not have to deal with the web interface when inputting large amounts of information :)

Regarding the aventures/campaigns suggestion we can already do that. Here you go: https://marketplace.roll20.net/home/becomecreator Regarding macros, you can use copy/paste and if you have macros you feel are useful for a game system they can be shared in the wiki for that game system. Regarding character sheets here you go: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/882269/important... If you meant importing/exporting Characters (and associated images) then you can use the Character Vault ("My Vault" found in the blue bar above).
Thanks for that! I understand the desire to filter works (perhaps some sort of author/item reputation/downloads/stars indicator?) but I don't own all the bits so I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them on. Making them available for others to use, sure. Does the site need to attract more potential subscribers? Make good free filterable content available for them to use. However I also see that doing this would devalue premium content. Perhaps that's the trade-off and the site's decided on the premium content model - fair enough. Macros - good point, I'll check into that. Character sheets - I don't mean the underlying mechanics, I mean the specific values used in a campaign. I also mean import/export to your desktop as XML or something, not just to other campaigns on roll20...

(but I don't own all the bits so I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them on.) Therein lies the issue, if you don't own the rights to them, you might not be able to legally share them. Roll20 has very strict policy regarding piracy and copyright infringement, thus anything that is potentially dubious is avoided (and for good reason).

It is very unlikely that this will ever be made possible for the reason that Simon mentioned. The inability to share campaigns between users is to prevent copyright infringement. That being said, if a user creates a homebrew campaign and has sell rights to everything used in said campaign (rule system, characters & places, art), then you could sell it on the marketplace for others to buy and use.
Ah yes, that makes a lot of sense. A shame I suppose but it does make sense. Thanks for the responses folks.
