There are free rules to download for some of the games! Here is Basic Fantasy RPG in a free PDF, http://basicfantasy.org/download.cgi/Basic-Fantasy... If you like the looks of BFRPG & after reading some of the rules (first 10 pages), send me a PM if you want to join an open table Basic game I've made for introducing new players. I know of 2 or 3 groups playing it on Roll20 which are welcoming new members. It is a more basic game with lighter rules, based on "early D&D" in particular the versions from the 1980's which is now considered "old school revival" style. A brand new game that's out and getting popular is D&D 5th edition. The basic rule set for D&D 5E is also free in PDF, on this other link, http://media.wizards.com/2014/downloads/dnd/Player... If you want to try 5E you'll find lots of new groups for it popping up on the LFG search engine here and in the forum. Hope this helps you to get started here!
