Hi matthew! It sounds like you might have updated the default token? To start over, delete any "Bodak" in your journal, or just rename the adjusted Bodak. When you drag in a compendium monster, Roll20 looks first to see if you have an identically-named monster in your journal already. If one already exists in your game, the compendium drag places a copy of your local, existing monster instead. This is to protect you from accidentally overwriting any homebrew. So if you drag in a goblin, and change the scimitar to a shortsword, any subsequent compendium drags will place your shortsword goblins. If you delete the custom goblin, or rename it to something like "Sword Goblin", then a compendium drag will pull in the monster manual version. Similarly, if you make any changes to the token artwork, and update the default token, you'll always pull in the new version. tl;dr: rename your bodak character on their character sheet, both in the NPC name field and in the name that comes up when you edit the journal. You can then pull in a traditional bodak from the Monster Manual.
