Players Wanted For D&D 5E Campaign Sunday Night 7:00 PM CST

I have a small campaign written for Dungeons and Dragons Next or 5E or just D&D. Up to 6 players can participate. This campaign uses Scripted Macros and a few other Surprises. It is designed for NEW PLAYERS and VETERANS alike. I have the 5 Starter Set PreGenerated Characters if you do not want to create your own character. If you would like to get in on this campaign, which should run about 6 weeks or so, post a character concept here or request one of the PreGens (2 human fighters, 1 dwarf cleric, 1 high elf wizard, 1 halfling rogue). RESTRICTIONS: Only races allowed are human, halfling, elf, dwarf... When creating the character use the recommended Array (15,14,13,12,10,8) or roll 4d6 drop lowest (this must be done in game). Level 1 with Max Hitpoints. Equipment will be PURCHASED IN GAME! I plan on running the first session of this Sunday Night August 31, at 7:00 PM CST. Only those who actually want to play should post interest. This will be a worthwhile event for both New Players and Veterans, you will learn to use Roll20 and learn to play a FRPG. Chat will use either Hangouts or Skype

what's the communication?

Haven't played D&D since the 80's. Looking to get back into it using a virtual tabletop. My long term goal is to be a DM, but got to learn the how to walk, before running. All I have are the pdf rules. If you are willing to teach an old dog new tricks, I would look forward to the experience. So, I didn't slow anyone down, one of the pre-rolled human fighters would be right up my alley.

I'm interested in playing, and this sounds like a decent learning experience; I've played some 3.5 and some 4th, but every time I get a group of my friends to play, people lose interest. Not sure how much of the character you want here. I'd like to play a Druid or a Ranger, though I'm fine playing something else if it helps group diversity, though I'm set on making the Character an Elf.

if we do end up using hangouts, sign me up I'm interested...but won't post anything lengthy unless requested

There are 5E fillable character sheets on line that will produce a pdf which can be sent via EMail, Skype, or possibly Hangouts. I don't have the Links handy maybe someone else does.

Hey there i'm new to Roll20 and this sounds like a great way to get started. The only campaign I've played in was 4E and that was couple years ago so I'm rusty, but looking forward to getting back into it. I'd have no problem playing one of the pregenerated characters either the dwarf cleric or one of the human fighters would be great. So if this sounds like a fit just let me know, talk to you then.

Hi, I don't suppose there's still room? I just got the PHB, so I guess I might as well get some use out of it... ;-) EDIT: Right, I knew I forgot something: I had some ideas for either a paladin, a cleric, or maybe some other sort of caster, depending on what the party needs.

Ajax, i'm new to the 5th ed system but I have read through the basic rules a bit and am somewhat familiar with them. I have been a RL DM for a long time and have recently rekindled my interest in tabletop RPGs thanks to roll20. I would love to play in your campaign if you still have room left. As far as character concept I can be flexible. I'm comfortable playing any role depending on what the party needs. I would prefer to play a fighter, wizard, or cleric, but like I said anything is fine. I have a good understanding of the roll20 system, I can make my own macros and I know how to use Honey Badger's power cards. Please let me know if you still have room. I can communicate via Skype or Google Hangouts (No webcam though).

Looking to give all of this a try, and would be interested in playing if there's any room left. Looks like you probably have a full group, if not I'd be happy to try whichever PreGen isn't taken.

Attention Potential Players: I will, one more time post the character creation parameters: Races Human, Halfling, Elf, Dwarf, recommended array of (15, 14, 13,12, 10 , 8 ) or in game roll 4d6 drop lowest. I will post the link here well before the game's first session for character creation or tweaking..... All players creating their own characters will be required to use the exact same character/macro set up as the Pre Gens, these are easily done in game.

A link will be posted here around 5:30 PM CST, Potential Players can enter the module anytime after that. If you need to roll stats get there early enough. If you are planning on playing one of the PreGens you can select it at that time. The game will host up to 6 players, and will be on a first come first serve basis. This campaign should run about 6 weeks. New Players are most welcome as are any Veterans.... We will be using Hangouts to start if there are problems our back will be skype. No video will be used but Audio is a requirement.. Game sessions will usually run 3 to 4 hours....

Hello, I'd like to put my name in the hat. Just found out about roll20 last night, been playing tabletop games off and on since the 90's.

We only have room for one player so what ever character best fits the campaign will get the nod, however if we have any players from last week (the first session) drop out then there might be room for additional players, but the group limit is going to be set at 6 players plus the DM.

I used A standard array for my character. The stats are as follows: Strength; +3 (16) I Dexterity; +2 (14) I Constitution; +3 (17) I Intelligence; -1 (8) I Wisdom; -1 (8) I Charisma; +0 (10)
