Hello, I am a long time player and DM of DnD 5e, recently I had
someone tell me about pathfinder, I started reading and it seems pretty cool, more
combat centric I think. Any way I would like to DM the beginner box adventure,
again I am new to pathfinder and so this would be a tutorial game more then
anything. We would run through the normal module, if it turns out we are alive
and heads mostly non-exploded. I wouldn’t mind running a small campaign based
on the beginner module its an extension called trouble in otari. I find this weird formatting but I think its best for
learning, so it will be the beginner box, which comes with 4 pre-gen characters
a Cleric, fighter, rouge, wizard. I would like to use them. It would be best to
learn the game, on both sides as I am new too. There
will be resources available for reading while we play and I will do my best to
keep us informed. There will be breaks from the game to explain, read and learn.
Once complete we have decision to make on two fronts, one will we keep going, I
only hold you to the beginner box after that it will be a vote to continue,
after that the 2 nd will be how to handle the game moving forward, we
can either continue with the pre-gen or roll up characters, then do we start again
from the start or do we start where we left off? All things to talk about.
If you play DnD 5e or more specifically 3.5 then you will
pick this up quickly, and a lot of RPG skills are transferable to this game. I don’t
know the time or day but I live in PST so be ready for that lol . but I do work
during the week so mon-fri until 6pm are taken so expect a time outside of that.
If you have any questions please let me
know, if interested in the game please send me a PM with your discord
information and we can talk about it.
