Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. About The DM I run tabletop games as my full-time job for the last 4 years while finishing my education in Business management. I am an audio-visual person, so I tend to incorporate custom songs of villains or locations to give them a sense of personality. I grew up around theatre which helped build my sense of story writing and attempt to do voices to give each NPC and villain a sense of life to them. I have always found myself pulled into fantasy settings such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, etc which lead to my interest in tabletop games. This is my passion job and I am grateful for the community that I have built and for roll20 to give me this opportunity to provide for myself and my wife while managing school rather than a 9-5 job. I take my work seriously and do my best to continue improving each time from every session. Group Expectations Be Respectful, Communicative, and Considerate Try to arrive on time, preferably 5 minutes early If you cannot make a session, please try to inform me a minimum of 2 hours in advance so that I may adjust as needed. If you cannot make a session, you do not pay for it. We will tend to run a minimum of 50% of players during RP/Exploration sessions with a 75% minimum for expected combat-heavy sessions. We will be using Discord for Voice, so a Discord account is required. DM Expectations I currently have over 6,000 hours on Roll20 and have a well-rounded understanding of 5e after being a paid DM for the last 4 years. I will use dynamic lighting and audio to provide an immersive experience I will not be overly strict on weight limits (within reason) or non-GP materials for casting as a general rule. I will queue in players with checks if it matches their backstory or simply inform them of something that they should know as a character that they might not know or remember at the time as a player. I tend to use roleplay over checks unless it pairs into it thematically. I have run many different styles of tabletop from heavy combat to nearly complete RP with exploration bleeding into either, I will let the group during session 0 decide which percentage to allocate overall campaign length towards for homebrew Services Sessions are 3 hours long with the option of 4 hours if all players agree I will be present 30min before and after the session for any questions I will assist in character sheet creation/Storyboarding backstory/ and rules questions. There will be the option to do 2-3 hour 1-on-1 sessions for backstory events, groups may elect to do so as a tie-in before session 1 as a session 0.5 as a test run to test character ideas/ practice teamwork/ and generate a more fluid story. This is my full-time occupation alongside finishing college, so I will do my best to be available at all times to answer questions or discuss any needed topics. Allowed Content I allow all 5e published content (Setting-based books will depend on features/settings) Homebrew content is allowed, although it needs to be approved first. Feel free to discuss it with me at character creation. Open Slots for Sessions (Set in EST)(Set as Timeframe of availability, not session length) You can respond as a group or individual to try to set up a time, as a note we will use majority voting to decide on a Module or Homebrew if it is needed for a group of individuals. Mondays - 1pm-7pm Tuesdays - 1pm-5pm or 12pm-4am Wednesdays - 1pm-9pm Thursdays - 7pm-2am Friday - 3pm-8pm Saturdays - 8am-7pm Sundays - 8am-6pm As a note for clarification, I am looking to run only 1 or 2 more campaigns/modules so do keep that in mind as it is first come first served for when a group starts Session 0 that will lock a slot in. Rates (Reminder all payments are via PayPal as listed in the disclaimer) The Rates for each session will depend on the based time set as well as Homebrew versus Module, note this doesn’t mean if we go over to finish a session for RP or combat you’ll be charged extra that is not the case. This simply means that the session will be prepped for that time frame and be expected to end at the end of said time frame. Homebrew Price The Base Price is $15 per session for 3 hours of play $2 per additional hour with a cap of 5 hours of play Perks This comes with the ability to insert your input into the world itself, creating factions to incorporate your character into A dedicated story arc if preferred to tie in the backstory to give a sense of meaning and purpose to the character being there with the party A more living world with greater actions bears consequences and rewards for accomplishing great deeds or feats. Modules Price The Base Price is $13 per session for 3 hours of play $2 per additional hour with a cap of 5 hours of play Perks This comes with the option of playing any 5e module with your group! The modules will be revised to aid to tailor to the party as well as add additional stakes to the modules While modules tend to be a bit linear, they are unique in each run-through thanks to the wonderful players and DM flavor!
