Character sheets unknown alterations

i dont know if anyone has had this happen to them but for the last few month my players character sheets have been getting weird interactions like saving throws getting unchecked or spells being removed or altered to not work, or spells/weapon attacks being doubled in the attack bar. i have looked everywhere and i have no idea what is happening. does anyone know a fix or has had this happen?

Are you a player in this game, with a GM? The most likely explanation to me is that the GM (or someoone with explicit edit rights) is making changes to your sheet.

Is this the 5e by Roll20 character sheet? If so then yes, sometimes it has a bug where the spells and weapon attacks get doubled in the attack section of the sheet. The solution is to delete the excess attacks and hope that doesn't mess up the associated spells. If it does just re-add the spells. The other effects I have not seen. If you could elaborate then maybe the problem could be diagnosed.

I am the gm of the game and yes to gauss question. when my players open their character sheet when you would normally have your saving throws checked they are unchecked and likewise to the proficiencies 

Chris S.,  I am not sure why their character sheets would have saving throws unchecked. I haven't heard of this bug before. Is this a one time issue or is it a continuing problem?

Is this a one time issue or is it a continuing problem? the issue comes and goes if we go for longer than a week and we come back they are altered and we have to go through screen shots to make sure nothing else has been changed but i have found that even some items get removed from time to time not just saving throws and proficiencies getting uncheck. this has been happening for about 7 month now and started happening more often since the last update for doors and windows. i have also noticed that old maps have begun to get altered like walls being deleted and such.

If you are having long standing issues like that then I suggest messaging the Devs via the Help Center as the forums are primarily for users helping users. I haven't seen anything like what you are describing, maybe the Devs can track it down.

I submitted a ticket and was told that it's likely due to corrupted character sheets and the solution was to recreate the sheet from scratch. (That's a lot of fun with mid-level multiclass characters, some with custom equipment.)

You'd think that pruning the duplicates entries would be no more than a minor annoyance, but for some people it's very frustrating. I have players that are borderline luddites when it comes to anything computer related. (That's a lot of fun with mid-level multiclass characters, some with custom equipment.) The problem is pretty widespread so I am not sure that "corrupted character sheets" is an adequate explanation. Yes, they may be corrupted, but I seen many users reporting it across multiple games over a long period of time. It is one of those annoying bugs that has been around for awhile.  As for pruning, that can cause problems as it can break spell linkage etc.

(That's a lot of fun with mid-level multiclass characters, some with custom equipment.) i have tried the new character sheet thing and it still persisted and i do think it is a corrupted sheet thing as my other games do not have the problem that have only gone on for more than a few weeks but my current one that is having problems has gone for almost a year now and after the 3rd month it started happening.
