VTT Enhancement Suite Update for Google Chrome?

Recently Roll20 hasn't been running properly for me on Google Chrome, and keeps trying to force me to download a VTT Enhancement Suite on Github. None of my other friends are experiencing this, and the Suite page even says its unofficial. The whole thing feels weird. Is this legitimate, or should I be worried? Is there a way I can get Roll20 to run on Chrome without doing this update? I would very much prefer not to, and don't understand why it is trying to force me.
Repeated pop-ups or other messages that urge you to download  extensions, add-ons, etc. are usually signs of a malware infection. I'd take measures to scan your machine using an anti-malware app, preferable one downloaded using a different device than the one on which you're seeing this. (If you already have anti-malware or antivirus on your device, it may have missed an infection if it's not up to date)

Hi John! What exactly is sending you messages to install VTTES? That sounds very suspect. There is nothing inherently wrong with VTTES. The biggest drawback is that it is one more layer of things to investigate when you are having an issue. I used it for a while back when it was new, but dropped it for that reason. But that you would be getting messages about something " force [you] to download a VTT Enhancement Suite on Github" is rather worrying. I don't know of any behavior in either Roll20 or VTTES that would do that.

I’ve never seen that happen since I started using Roll20 in 2014. I suspect your computer has something on it that shouldn’t be there. Try opening Roll20 in an Incognito window first, then start searching for whatever it is.
Thank you all for your replies. I tried opening Roll20 Incognito mode, and it ran perfectly with no issue. So I'm starting to think it may be malware, and will look into it.
This is the popup I am currently getting; I can't load into Roll20 properly even if I ignore it. The second is a screen grab from the page it tries to load; if I open another window while trying to load Roll20 it will populate

Hello all; I just wanted to let everyone know the issue is solved, and based off Keith's advice I checked my extensions and found a Tampermonkey extension. I removed it, and now Roll20 runs perfectly!
