Laggy graphics, parts?

Hello there. I want to change parts in my tower pc. I have all the minimum requirements to play but I don't want to change the whole computer yet. I do not have a smooth experience in sessions for graphics, tokens and movements. What part should I check first to get better gaming sessions? Fx-4100, swap for a Fx-6300 (6 cores) Ssd kingston v300, swap for a samsung 860 evo Gtx 750ti, swap for a Gtx 1050 to 1080 series I already have a 24 gb of ddr3 and a stable internet connexion. What are your thought on this one? Thx.

Hi MichelDC! I honestly don't think raw power has much to do with it. I get good performance on an off-the-shelf Mac Mini, and acceptable performance from a Low-to-mid-range Chromebook. However, listing specs is probably a good idea anyway, since some folks with even quite powerful rigs have issues with lag. You might discover some commonalities. Good luck!
From talking to the people that I play with, the quality of your internet connection and its bandwidth has a larger impact on Roll20 performance than anything else other than possibly a good graphics card.

It is really confusing. I understand your points. 2 of my friends change their computers for something recent and they wiped their laggy problems, without changing internet provider, modem or even tweaking their connection.
In my experience, I've never regretted upgrading my graphics card. I currently have a GTX 1070 and rarely experience lag unless it's a really large map  (over 100 grid spaces in any direction) with many of light sources, or if using explorer mode.
