Can't use Ruler with tokens

I can't move tokens anymore and measure their movement with the ruler, because it auto switches to the ruler tool.

Hi Jimmy Habelbagel,  I was not able to reproduce this. Could you provide exact steps to reproduce the issue? Keypresses, button presses, and toolbar settings?  Also, are you trying to use the toolbar measurement tool or the "Q" button to measure while moving the token?
I can confirm this behavior.  I click on the token and then press 'q' to measure the distance of movement.  It starts moving the token, measures the first few squares, and then abruptly stops and switches the pointer to the ruler.  The token stops moving and the distance moved still remains.  The additional movement of the cursor does not register until I go back and click again to measure a distance or change back to the select/move pointer.

Hi Oginme,  Thank you for the description of the problem. I was still not able to replicate this. Which browser are you using?
Firefox.  It does work properly in a private window and in Chrome.  Highly suspect this is a VTTES issue, not Roll20.

Instead of hitting 'q' in order to activate it, try the following: Click on the Token, then immediately RIGHT CLICK to activate the ruler. Then as you move the token and want to change direction, RIGHT CLICK again and thus creating a 'node'... If you let go of the token, the ruler also vanishes... ;) Hope this helps!
