TlDr: Rusty but experienced looking for casual weekday evening game looking for longer term campaign, not one offs Very open to newer players I've been gaming off and on since the late 80s, with breaks of varying lengths in between groups thanks to life (moving, jobs, etc). I  started with 1st/2nd ed AD&D, and over the years have played a lot of different systems to one degree or another (personal favorite system was Shadowrun 3rd).   Most recent was a 5e group that started in person and then moved to Roll20 with COVID.  That group ended a little over a year ago and I haven't been able to find anything since.  Hence rusty... I'm looking for a casual group of adults.  I respect and can appreciate people who play 10 games a week and are intimate masters of their systems, but to be honest a group full of that caliber of player is not what I'm looking for anymore.  I'd like a group of people who have full lives and use a weekly game to escape for a few hours.  That doesn't mean we don't take the game seriously, we just don't live/eat/breath/shit the game 24/7.  I'm very open to a group of new players, a mix of experience, or veteran players who don't mind someone that just needs to knock the rust off.   Ideally, I'd love to find a group where we can all start with a known/easier system, like 5e, and then as we finish a campaign we can try new systems or swap DMs.  I've DM'ed my fair share over the years, and so would be game to run something down the road if it worked out.  While my preference would be a M-Th late afternoon/evening game (I'm in US Central, work from home so could start as early as 3:30PM), I would consider a weekend game if the group really felt right.  I would prefer 18+, but otherwise am totally open to demographics.  I've actually found that a more diverse table makes for a much more interesting game.  As far as the game itself, I have no triggers myself but respect any others may have, and am comfortable playing with any type of content.  I'd like a long term campaign, whether that's a series of modules or a homebrew doesn't matter. I'm fine with any level of RP'ing, however I can't really do voices so that's my only limitation LOL  A mix of combat/social is preferred, too much of either gets dull eventually.  I'm comfortable filling any role a group might need, but if left to my own devises I tend to drift towards Dex based characters. If the above sounds like it might fit with the game you're running, or thinking about running, drop me a line.
