Dark Heresy sheet bug

A few weeks ago the sheets for Dark Heresy 1e started to look bugged. Does anyone know how to fix it? I', talking about the empty boxes between characteristics.

It looks like the author  of the Dark Heresy 1e sheet has been inactive (on the forums) for 8 years now.  Checking the Github entry on it I see someone made some changes a month or two ago, but not being a sheet coder I don't know if they damaged it or not.  I will try to get one of the sheet coders to take a look to see if it is easily fixed but if it isn't I don't know what recourse you will have.

Looks like this is the commit that did it. I'll agree that it looks rather ugly. I'm not familiar with the system. Would it be helpful to have "checkboxes for tracking Characteristics upgrade," like a progress tracker? If so, it might be better to have something like this , and change the appearance to some solid-colored squares instead. Also, it would be pretty simple to change the colors of those blue checkboxes in the rest of the sheet. Want me to make them match that crimson color I see on that button in the very top-right of your screenshot?

Stephen, when comparing the current character sheet to the image of the sheet on file  there appear to be two issues affecting that character sheet.  1) The first "Characteristic" "Weapon Skill" is missing it's box with number inside it.  2) The checkboxes have created dead space between each "Characteristic".  ie. Rather than being put to the side of the Characteristics they were put between them and thus created dead space.  (Note: I don't use this sheet, just trying to help the users that do.)

Frankly, considering that 1e has Ascension with 2 more tiers of upgrades, I find the entire checkboxes for stat upgrades to be pointless, since trackable XP and advances part of the sheet already does it.

As Gauss has mentioned, the main issue is the Dead Space created between characteristics, as depicted on my screenshot. I would greatly prefer if those boxes were either moved to the side as to not create deadspace or gone altogether.

I looked up a copy of the rules, and I agree that the tracker at the bottom of the sheet should be sufficient for what those checkboxes were trying to do. It was a simple enough change to remove them. And while I was at it, I changed the checkbox color to match the theme of the sheet a bit better. The changes may take a few days to go live. I think that Sunday or Monday is the next round of updates.
