trying to set a max cap on a macro I am terrible at programming

so I am working on a macro for a spell Palarandusk's Fire Breath it dose 1d6 per caster level up to 5d6 how do i get the macro to cap off at 5?

There's probably a number of ways to do this, but the obvious one is using the DH (drop highest) modifier, like /roll [[{@{caster_level},5}dh1]]d6 I don't know what stats are called in your system or what the macro looks like generally, so you'd need to change parts of that to fit. Hopefully this gives you a pointer.
