I'm Rhett and I've been DMing for over 35 years. Though I've only recently started using Roll20 and DMing for hire. I'm currently running one paid campaign and another personal one. I'm a dm who has his players enjoyment always as my priority and as players expect the campaign to shift keeping the player characters as the focus. It would be my pleasure to introduction you to a classic and amazing adventure regarded as one of the best for D&D 5e. This campaign focus heavily on roleplay and character's actions, with a gothic horrors and darker tones. Fear not great battles, and classic dungeon crawls are all mixed in. Here's the link to the Listing: https://app.roll20.net/join/15681022/FhSUTQ Curse of Strahd Wednesday: 6:30pm Eastern Time. In roll-playing the plot is not set in stone, and everything can be talked through. If you, wish to approach your character or the setting in a different way, remember this is a game where players have much more agency than in more common videogame mediums or board-games. In regard to your, Player Characters’ classes, races and subclasses, all officially published character options are allowed. I do not like to ban classes or races or builds since that means the players are investing their efforts and time in the game and drawing enjoyment from it in one way or another and I'll always foster that involvement in my campaigns. The game session will take place within the range of 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm EST, this 5-hour range will contain the sessions. W hich will be no less than three hours and last around four hours with extension to five hours, as I see necessary to complete battles or scene or wrap-up complications. I may adjust starting times... but I will make the decision depending on the players’ availabilities. I don’t want anyone to be left out of a session if I can help it. My preference is to have 3 to 5 players that already know each other. However, if individuals want to make up a group, i would like to gather a group of at least 3 players to begin the campaign (I would prefer 5), starting with a session zero (which would be free) to talk about expectations, characters and carry out character creation which I will help with if necessary for new players. After that, we'll have a short starting session. Which would also be free so everyone can see if they like the game, characters and fellow player… if we have time in the first 5 hours. Every game afterwards will cost $15 per player per session via PayPal payable before the session starts on a weekly basis until we finish the module. Play of the campaign will use Roll20 and Discord for the sessions. Character creation or anything outside of the sessions is free. I encourage players to chat on Discord and use its community functions and will setup a Discord server for us. If you're interested, please comment here, direct message me on Roll 20: John D. or contact me through Discord:Jrhettdavis,(#2313) my username Roll20 is: John D. I am also reachable at D&D Beyond. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $15 dollars per player per session from the second session onward. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
