NPC Tokens look faded on token layer

Two tokens, same layer (token layer) PC on the right, NPC on the left. Looks the same whether loaded as GM or as a player. What am I doing wrong?

Is torch on the wall is emitting orange or yellow colored light? The tinted light it may be washing out the colors on that token.

Yep it is. I can change that, but why would it wash out the NPC tokens and not the PC ones? Edit: It looks like the NPC token continues to wash out no matter what color I change the light to.

As soon as I assign them to a player or all players, they are clear again.  I suppose its a bug?  Generally I run our games in person with a shared TV screen for maps. I can assign my npc tokens to all players I suppose as I'm the only one who interacts with the token anyway.

You might start running into other interactions that you don't want, such as NPC tokens appearing on top of PC tokens for your players, or having information about the NPCs available to your players that you don't want them to have. Instead, if you really want to have an area filled with a tinted color, you could use the Mood Lighting tip  to place an invisible .png token on the map image and add a colored aura to it.  Then you wouldn't need to use the colored light, and you won't get the washed out effect.

I like that! Thank you so much!
