Background white for some players

The DM's maps and background screens were not visible to certain players last night.  It seemed to be dependent on which browser and which version of browsers the players were using.  For example on my Imac I could see the backgrounds using an older version of Chrome, but on my Macbook pro, i couldn't see them using a current version of Chrome.  Same with Firefox.  Everyone was using either Chrome or Firefox.

Hi Glenn,  Could you clear your cache and check to see if you can see the images after that?  Sometimes people delete the images from their art library, but they can still see the images in the game. The reason is they are seeing cached versions of those images rather than actual live images.
One Player of mine in a game yesterday had the EXACT Same Problem... Only reloading fixed it... WHY this is happening is beyond me! (I am GM and NO Dynamic Lighting etc. was involved, not even FoW... I have filed a help request for a similar (the same?) bug for firefox on mac mini m1 . Turning off  UI Redesign seemed to solve it. Given the timing i guess this is a bug introduced with the measurement tool change.
haven't run into this problem on chrome but it's possible it's been fixed since the posting.
