Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read through my ad here. So, I am typically a forever GM type person. Running two games of my own at the moment, and I really would like to have the chance to play again. I'm not the pickiest when it comes to games, but like everyone, I do have my preferences. I pretty much like semi-crunch to more crunchy games. For example, the games that I run are Shadowrun and Warhammer Fantasy. I find both to be actually rather easy, once you understand them and read through them all. So, that should give an idea for the crunch I am used to and enjoy. About me as a player. I'm in my early 40's, and have been playing since my teens. With that said though, I believe that there is always room for improvement and that I can always learn more. I'm LGBT+ friendly, and firmly believe that any for my sexual assault/danger, racism or the like has no place at the game table. I love to dive into worlds, I want to learn all that I can about them. So if you have a setting of your own? Expect me to be asking questions about it! I tend to play more support characters, as honestly? I want the group to have fun, and I find that is the best way for me to do so. Making other people shine, and giving everyone a chance to have their moment in the spotlight. I also firmly believe that this is all just a game, something we do for fun. So if it's not fun? Then say something, so we can all make it fun for everyone at the table. Setting wise, right now I am open. The only things I am not looking for are noir, pulp, or anything low powered. Give me magic, heroes, dragons (literal, metaphorical, etc), and all that good stuff!! Hell, I'd love a game where I can play AS a dragon! Fantasy is always good, as is both cyberpunk and sci-fi. Post apocalyptic is fun too! But at the end of the day, I'm open and just would like to play. Systems that I am particularly interested in are: Savage RIFTS, Shadowrun, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Mage the Ascension, Werewolf the Apocalypse(would love to play a Theurge), Exalted (really would love to play a Twilight Sorcerer). But I am open to other suggestions! My only things are, I am only looking for published systems. No homebrew systems. I'm open to D&D, but wouldn't say it is my first choice. But hey, beggars can't be too choosy in this case. Though, I will say I have utterly -zero- interest in anything Powered by the Apocalypse, Fate, or anything super narrative. I like crunchier systems, so anything super story/narrative forward are just not for me. I also have to say that I am not all that excited about OSR games. Only looking for voice games as well. Scheduling wise, I am EST. I'd love to play on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday evening, with a start time around 7:00PM EST. But I am a bit flexible on this. If I happen to have caught your eye here? Please drop me a line!
