Subscription Questions

Hey all. My players and I currently play on Maptools but I'm trying to get them to move to roll20. 1) If I, as the dm, am the only subscriber (mentor-level) and my players are all on free accounts, will they gain access to the extra features I put into my campaign? 2) What features, if any, will they be missing out on as players only with free accounts? (Any character sheet fanciness?) 3) If another player wishes to take over DMing duties, will I be able to gift to him or grant access to him my benefits as a subscriber? I'm thinking that if several of us want to share DMing duties, it might benefit us to have a 'master' DM account that could be shared between the group. As it stands right now, forcing my players to pay for subs is a bit of a hard sell. Apologies if any of these have already been addressed, I have not done a thorough forum search.

1) Yes, the Campaign Owner GM determines what features are available. (Exception: paid subscribers can use tablets even if the GM is not a paid subscriber.) 2) Inside the campaign, none. Outside the campaign there will be a few features they will not have access to such as the Character Vault (a system to transfer characters between campaigns). 3) See #1. If the Guest GM is a paid subscriber but the Campaign Owner GM is not a paid subscriber then the campaign will be at the free level. Also, if the Campaign Owner GM is a paid subscriber but the Guest GM is not a paid subscriber then the Guest GM will still have access to the paid subscriber tools available to Guest GMs. Note: Some features, such as the Transmogrifier are Campaign Owner only. Because of this if someone else is going to be a long term GM it is recommended that that GM be the Campaign Owner. Finally, you can gift GMs with accounts. Click on the user to get to the profile and then select "Give Gift Subscription".
