[LFP ][DND] [18+] Seeking Players for apocalyptic, Text-Based group game. Newbie friendly

Howdy people, I'm looking for people to play with in an apocalyptic setting, zombies, monsters, mutants, the like. The game is using an pseudo dnd system, using the primary attributes while incorporating skills suited to the setting of an apocalypse. Setting will involve mature themes and elements associated with an world where society has broken down. Characters may tune their character to whatever Orientation they like as this is an game for adults that I will attune to suit. Human, and beastfolk characters are the main demographic in this world so there is more freedom of character building and choice. The game start is going to be day 1 of the apocalypse so the initial rush to survive is also there. Will usually play around mid-day to evening, with side/solo content for players who can't wait for the rest to be ready too. Not like going solo on a supply run could ever go wrong, right~? If this is of interest to you or simply want to know more, then feel free to dm me.
Hello, I have a few questions. 1. Will the setting be modern or fantasy? 2. Will game sessions be every day live text and/or play-by-post? If not, what day(s), frequency, and time zone? 3. Will adventuring be structured similar to West Marches in which varying parties will travel from home base and complete a one-shot adventure? 4. What specific game system will be used? Any details on character creation? 5. What are your expectations from each player? 6. How long will game sessions usually run in length of time? 7. Are player characters expected to fill a specific role if running game with finite party members, eg. healer, tank, striker, skill monkey, etc.? Thank you for taking time to answering these questions.
No problem, happy to answer. 1. Setting is modern. Think like Resident Evil, Walking Dead, etc. An facsimile of modern times. 2. Yeah, Play-by-post. There will he points where everyone plays together and down time where players can do solo adventurers where I play npcs. 3. Haven't played West Marches, but was planning on an initial scenario, where the party has to survive amd escape from wherever they are at from immediate threats. And arriv8ng at an shelter or place they make a Base. From there you can find more permanent bases to call home. 4. Using Homebrew 5e D&D, the main attributes are the same while skills are home brew. Stats can be improved over time. Along with other Perks and traits gained through am unique Mechanic. For character creation, you'll get attribute and skill points generally based of your characters theme, hobbies, etc before the apocalypse start. Was planning to have either an themed start. Like an class at an high school/higher learning place, members of an first responder organization, or simply an ragtag group of survivors who managed to get to am shelter in the initial wave of panic from different unique walks of life. 5. Players are expected to participate, chill, and have fun. Happy to talk when ever free and request future content, encounters, etc for me to introduce. If you want some sort of mutant, or alien goo to appear alongside whatever else I plan to include, feel free to shoot some ideas at me. I'll probably approve. 6. Depends on how everyone is feeling at the time, but usually an hour to two hours, for solo missions and exploring, I can do such at most times unless I'm busy with something else. 7. You don't have to play any sort of 'role', as characters can be more so themes or archetypes, if you want an Jock or Convict who doubles as the group medic/healer, that's fine and dandy. But usually you can recruit npc's to fill in the gaps as companions if you prefer to specialize. That way no items are truly useless, those bows and crossbows the party never touches can be used by npcs, and etc. If there are anymore questions or want my discord, feel free to ask.
