The team has arrived! Dr. Beckett has been located, safe and sound, but all is not well in the wilds of Wisconsin. The Coalition forces in Menomonie are (very reluctantly) working with a deranged cyber doc who has ordered the seizure of the good doctor's research--and his young patients! Lazlo's mercenaries are unhappy about this situation to put it mildly, and plans are being made to eliminate the threat posed by one Dr. Monroe Sterling. Someone has put out a call for additional support and additional mercenaries (or anyone with a grudge against the Coalition States) would be welcome for the coming troubles. This is an ongoing campaign, nearing the climax of action where the city-state of Lazlo has sent would-be heroes to rescue Dr. Beckett and his assistant from encroaching Coalition forces. Instead, they have found the doctor in a truce with the Coaliton, until the High Command sends their own scientist to co-opt his work without regard for the young refugees in his care. Now it's a race against time to evacuate the innocents and strike some payback against the infamous criminal, with some unexpected help from the local Coalition troops. New players are welcome, taking on roles of rescuers in a desperate situation.
