The current Text sections of the Handouts are: ● Description & Notes ● GM Notes (Only visible to GM) The problem is the players can edit any information the GM places in the Description and Notes section. I propose a Text Box section just above the Description and Note section to be named Read Only (GM posted description). This is where the GM can place notes that the players can only read and not chang e. I also want to rename Description and Notes to Player's Notes AND allow the players to be able to edit the information there by default. Thus keeping the capability of the players to be able to post here.  Updated 10/18/2023

The players can only edit that information if the GM allows it. Edit the handout and make sure that the "Can Be Edited By" box is set to either "Select Some Options" or lists only those players that you want to have editing rights (The GM always has editing rights by default). Players will still be able to see the handout as long as they (or "All Players") are listed in the "In Players Journal" box. In the example below, this handout, titled "Ability Scores", is set to be visible to all players in their journals, but not editable; the "edit" button will not even appear at the top of the handout for them.
The Idea is, if I read the post correctly, that you have 1 Handout where Players can Edit things but also have an area they can see but not touch. The Idea is, that Players can write Notes to specific Handouts...
I see; that would be useful! Now that is worth a vote! TheMarkus1204 said: The Idea is, if I read the post correctly, that you have 1 Handout where Players can Edit things but also have an area they can see but not touch. The Idea is, that Players can write Notes to specific Handouts...

Yes, TheMarkus1204 is correct. Perhaps I need to clarify it better. Thanks, everyone.
Would also be great if there were TABs on the GM section which opened up an additional page. Tabs that can be named. For example what if you have a Saloon with some notable NPCs? Each TAB could be named one of those NPCs thus making it very easy to find out the information for each individual. Or Perhaps each table was a was a location, such as a business, within a town that the Handout represented. Just a few of a great many ideas I would have use for with these TABs.
