Book of Many Things Pre-Order was $50 but on release it dropped to $30?

So I gifted the BoMT to my DM on Pre-Order for $50 and then I saw when it released the price had dropped to $30. Why was the pre order price $20 more than the actual price on release?

HI Lucas,  My suggestion would be to contact the Devs and ask for a refund (or have your DM do so).  If they agree, you could re-purchase it at 30$.  Here is the Roll20 Refund Policy .
It also didn't come with the Deck of Many More Things deck, just the Deck of Many Things deck. That was a real selling point for me. I just assumed that if there was a physical Deck of Many More Things, with art for 44 cards, that it would be included. About half of the art is in the compendium entry so you could make a half deck, but making half of it myself is not why I spent $50.
To update I have contacted support and they have offered a partial refund and I suggest everyone with the issue do the same.
Hi Lucas -- glad to hear your partial refund went off without a hitch! This was a rare occurrence where the original MSRP was one price and the digital recommended price adjusted mid-stream.  Once the digital pricing baseline changed, we did not want to keep ours inflated unnecessarily.  Anyone that purchased at the legacy price, please feel free to follow Lucas's lead and we'll make sure that partial refund is processed for you, no questions asked!  I know that hasn't given you the ideal experience, and I apologize for that.
