Good evening and salutations adventurers, I do not wish to take up valuable rolling or prep time with a 5 page backstory so I'll cut right to the meat as the lizardfolk say! Me and my fiance are looking to join up with a D&D group to spend more time doing things together while she is abroad. For us an ideal session is much more focused on the fun, the roleplay and the banter than anything, like a night out with friends or an episode of scrubs, take the serious with the merriment. You can fully anticipate character voices and players who will not go into a mood when the natural 1's occur, let those be an entertaining event too! We are looking for the kind of session where the unfolding action and story takes presidence over the rules, shoot the chandelier down upon that group! Grab a foot to keep the giant gorilla off-balance, try to muzzle the hellhound with a backpack! The game is played best when freedom of choice meets trust in the players not to abuse this wonderful agency ;) We are happy to work around time, level and fitting in, as fun comes first before wanting to play a specific thing. We know we are looking for a rarity here, but if you might be able to oblige, then please reach out mighty GM! =D Please note we are just looking for a good time and D&D, any agendas, any flag/warning snowflake games, $20 patreon subscription games or goblin-slayer theme games are of no interest at all. While I don't mind paying for the right game and believe GMs should indeed be compensated, anything higher than £10 will not be considered.
