Possible game. 1) Text Only. If that's a dealbreaker, read no further. :) 2) Homebrew, with a slight twist. Aside from what's already detailed, YOU will detail where you're from. The place and the society. 3) Story In Process. You'll be joining the PCs in play 4) Pacific (Daylight) Time. 2:30PM to 6:30PM The tale is "Legacy of Obsidian Dreams. In brief, The current PCs began as diplomatic envoys, traveled the land of Gift for a coronation of a new Queen. The queen has been sort of cursed, and the PCs steps in to help save her. In the current moment, they realized they needed more arcane knowledge than is available in Gift (which for Reasons has no arcane of divine magic of its own), and so they travels across the sea to the southen continent, headed for a place of great learning for answers. You'd join them on this quest somehow, in the Desert Realm of Sa'and, where they've just begun this leg of their adventure. We have an opening because one player had to dip due to Real Life, which is always screwing with people's fun. PCs are a Paladin from a pretty trad sort of kingdom, related to its King, a Bloodhunter from a noble Elven family brining shame to the family with her blood magic, and a Druid from a far north clime, one of the leaders of his village, as well as a Water-Blessed (Genasi). There's a few changes from standard D&D. Longer lifespans are nerfed, with elves being the longest live at about 180-200. Everyone sleeps! (Though elves still can't be made to sleep with magic. Aasimar, Tielings, and Genasi are not species, but expressions of Celestial, Infernal, or Elemental influence. Mechanically unchanged, but they have no societies apart from the ancestry on the character. Unusual expression of magic abound in the world outside Gift, but Gift itself had no such expressions, after 500 years of evil pogroms killing odd all such talent. It's been emergeing back into the world for about a quarter of a century, but still no native born arcane power. There's more. The game's been going for about 21 months, with a few changes in roster early on, but steady for last last 18 months until a couple weeks ago.
