And only a couple short weeks from this message being sent out will mark the anniversary of this event. The perceptive among you might notice that this coincidentally intersects with the release of Faerun Online; and We would like to verify that no, it is not a coincidence. Through the time, effort and dedication of many individuals and corporations, you can experience many of the events previously thought to be lost to time. We are also aware that just restoring this knowledge would not be interesting to a majority of the population(sadly), but We saw a solution to that dilemma... Yes the highly anticipated VRMMO, and We know you anticipate it since you are on Our mailing list, will include many highly important events to the history of Our realm. In addition to this, it is Our great pleasure to announce that partially to commemorate this event, exactly 16,000 individuals will join a contest involving the game. There will be 1,000 people on 16 different servers and one group of 4-5 adventurers(players) from each server will win 2000 gold each. We will afterward determine the top group out of the 16 to win additional prizes as well. If you are interested please go to one of the many office locations we have available to sign up and our staff will give you more information on where to go for the preliminaries. (Listen, over 1 million people have pre-registered for this game, We are aware that there's no way only 16,000 people will be interested.) We may have two rounds of preliminaries depending on how many people do sign up, but We implore you, know that you will be subject to NDAs and the like if you do join the main contest so please don't try to join for a mere lark.
