[LFP] Steampunk Text Based RPG

BLUF: A text based rpg with a simple dice mechanic and permadeath. The game runs 24/7 so you can play as much or as little as you like. Complete missions to determine the world narrative and compete against the ever adapting enemies of humanity. No word count required. No experience necessary. DM on roll20 for more information. Setting: “A fleet of armored airships hover over the remains of a once proud metropolis, long since overrun by the vicious creatures that have hunted humanity since before recorded history.  Tonight, they are the ones being hunted. Cadets of the Royal Aronecian Military Academy (RAMA), volunteers from all the nations of the world, line the narrow walkways beneath the airships mighty deck. Their bodies are fastened to a series of steel cables that will guide them through the dense fog cover below, and into enemy territory. It will be the first drop for many of them, and those that survive will have earn the hallowed title Venetor; a vital step towards graduation. Biplanes have already begun their strafing runs, clearing a path through the undergrowth with napalm and machinegun fire, opening a space for steam powered exosuits to enter the fray. With luck, the COIN investigators who had found this place weeks ago are still alive, dug in and waiting for rescue not far from where their emergency flares had been sighted. It’s a race against time, and just another day in the life of the RAMA.” Gameplay: The two modes of play are: Expeditions: Organized monthly, missions are site wide events that are necessary to move the world narrative forward as well as gain experience to upgrade player characters. These are hosted and managed by Narrators (GMs). Downtime: Hosted and ran by the players. These events do not result in experience but can be used to earn advantages in upcoming missions, recovery from injuries and battle fatigue, character development leading to plot armor points which can be used to survive a killing blow.
