There
is unrest across the continent. Goblins raid trade routes, several factions
struggle for control of the underbelly of society, and someone is gathering
orbs of power for an unknown purpose.
You can
join a now seasoned group of adventurers searching to stop actions against the
peoples of Tal’Dorei. Currently at 4 th level, the party consists of
a Human Run Knight Fighter, a Halfling Way of the Astral Self Monk, a Human
Assassin Rogue, and a Wood Elf Circle of Stars Druid.
After
defeating a Naga who had been dominating the people of a small village, they
uncovered clues to a guiding power, and knowledge that factions vying for power
of the thieves and assassins are intricately involved.
During this campaign you will:
Have a chance to interact with over 100 important NPCs across Exandria.
What is causing general unrest across the
center of Tal’Dorei
Navigate through the factions of the
underbelly of society to determine who can be trusted, and who not to trust.
Explore the Tal’Dorei and across the
continents to find the source of activity against the peoples and leaders of
the civilized regions.
Deal with invading tribes looking for lands of their own .
Uncover additional plots which threaten the world of Exandria.
Explore the World of Critical Role to thwart plots which could cause a
new cataclysm.
Behind
the scenes, the Betrayer Gods plot their return to the world, cultists seek to
bring back darker powers lost for millennia, and power factions aim to
overthrow the ruling classes.
During
this initial adventure, the party will encounter additional plots and
activities which relate to the character’s back stories and goals. This will
lead to opportunities for the party to travel to far off places in Exandria in
their quests to prevent another cataclysm from destroying the world they know.
How
the characters interact with the residents impacts the unfolding of the story
as the party tries to figure out who to believe and who can be trusted.
Session 0 is scheduled for Saturday May
4th at 2 PM EST.
