My Time Zone: EST Times/Days Available: Friday or Saturday evenings would be fun, but I could do most weeknights at 7 or 8 EST, as well (not available Sunday evenings). Preferred Method: Text or Audio Looking For: GM for Solo / One on One Campaign, Mini-Campaign, or One-Shot Games/Systems: Icons Assembled, possibly with additional books, most notably the rules for running a "Challenge Chamber" from Icons Annual 2 (also available as a standalone document) as the Danger Room. Ideally, the GM would be rather well-versed in Icons (I am about 75% confident in everything, myself) If the following doesn’t work for you, I have plenty of other ideas, so I’m sure we could figure something out!  I have wanted to play Icons for quite some time (I'm usually the GM in our group), and I have had numerous ideas over the years that I'd like to work with. While most of those ideas involve original characters, the current craving involves the possibility of playing as Marvel Girl / Jean Grey from X-Men in her rookie hero days, complete with original costume. With this in mind, one aspect I would love to have in the game would be considerable focus on training in the Danger Room. Some of the training could be solo, some could involve one or more of the other team members (Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman) as NPCs, or instructions/guidance from Xavier, etc. As far as the Danger Room, since she's new to all this, it's understandable that oftentimes, the result will involve her ending up rather imperiled - all wrapped up by one of the traps or otherwise rendered helpless (and flustered) in interesting ways. So, as a player, "losing" will be just as fun as "winning" (and I won't cry about it), even though that won't be the case for Jean! I could see success being about 50/50, particularly early on, as she would make rookie mistakes, overextend herself, get too confident, burn herself out, etc. Aside from that, there would also be, of course, adventure to be had! I'm fairly well-versed when it comes to the X-Men, but I'm by no means a scholar and the GM need not be, either. Besides, the timelines and events do not have to follow as they did in the comics, there could be original villains alongside the ones commonly associated with X-Men, etc. In short, strict adherence to "canon" isn't necessary.  If you're interested in possibilities, please feel free to send me a private message for further discussion!  Disclaimer: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of < let me know what you think for a rate and prefer per hour / per session - PayPal would be great for me >.
