Dragging monsters from compendium is not filling in stats to token

In my current campaign, dragging a monster from the compendium to the map will place the token but the hit points and AC are no longer automatically filled in.  It used to work fine, but has seemingly stopped.  Any ideas as to what changed? I'm not even sure what to modify in the settings to fix this.  I've tried a few things with no luck but I don't remember this being a problem before.

Hi Andrew W.,  This is a recent bug that has appeared and seems to be only happening to some games (my own included).  Here is a thread on the topic . So that the Devs can track those affected please file a bug report via the Help Center . Make sure you include that this appears to be the same bug as that in the thread I linked above.  In the meantime, the workaround (le sigh) is to edit the token, assign the bars as you would for a token created from scratch. Then update the token to the Character using the Use Selected Token button while editing the Character. 

I am experiencing the same thing.
