[LFG][5e] New player looking to join a long-term campaign

Hello everyone, as stated in the title I have no experience as a player when it comes to D&D 5e. I discovered D&D through Critical role and Baldur's gate and I would like to try it for myself. I have never tried to RP, but I would be curious to experience it for myself. So I might not be the best at improvisation, but I am willing to make an effort at it. I would also like to try and play in a long term campaign so that I can bond with my fellow players and discover more about this kind of game. I am 21 and I have several hobbies: among these there is my passion for Fantasy and Sci-fi; so that is one other reason for my pursue of D&D.
