Set in an alternate universe [AU], this setting is a composite of various Sonic media, taking creative liberties with the source material. Specifically, it excludes canon characters to give you, the player, more spotlight in this new Mobius. The Advent of Pandemonium is the first season in a long-term campaign, with each season expected to run 24 to 25 sessions. Between seasons, and even during arcs within a season, I’m completely fine with players swapping out characters or renewing them. The style for this game is character-driven. Each session will feature unique narrative threads dedicated to your characters, focusing on your motives, beliefs, and personalities. Consequently, your character and story will drive the overarching plot in The Advent of Pandemonium. The premise for the first season is that Mobius has produced great thinkers who realize their world is moving too quickly, significantly reducing the typical Mobian lifespan. These thinkers believe the 'Singular Point' theory may explain this phenomenon. However, mysterious emeralds have begun appearing across the six continents, throwing another wrench into their theories. The focus for this season is the Polis Continentβ€”a cyberpunk, industrial landmass more akin to a well-oiled machine than what most Mobians consider home. In the Casino Zone of Polis, an auction is being held for one of these mysterious emeralds. You and the cast of players arrive in the Casino Zone for your own undisclosed reasons, but with the overarching goal of acquiring this emerald. Shenanigans will ensue, and by the end, you will hopefully form a party to stand the test of Pandemonium. Additional Details Date/Time: I try to be flexible, I'm only available between Monday through Thursday, so I usually schedule games anytime between these four days, whatever fits the group at the best time during that week, so the gameday and time fluctuate a bit. Typically with my regulars its like mid-day sessions. I'm in the EST timezone, and sessions typically last between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the group's preference. Payment: 20$ per session via Cashapp or Paypal. If you'd like to give the campaign a shot before making your decision, Session 0 is completely free. Available Spots:  0 /6. Preferred Age: 16+.  Preferred Experience: Any! New players are welcome! DM Style: I put a strong focus on the story, often creating detailed plot threads that favor the players. I love seeing players succeed, but with their fair share of struggles. I usually add obstacles to the story to help characters grow and reach their full potential. I thrive in the story elements of a campaign, and I include a lot of combat that ties into the narrative. Battles are an extension of the character's story, not just fillers. I design fights around plot points, making sure they affect the game's social parts and future events. As a huge Dragonball fan, I create combat that plays to your characters' strengths and weaknesses. I'm also lenient with character growth curves, working one-on-one with players to plan out their character's end point without spoiling the journey. I trust and respect my players as much as they trust or respect me, and I make an effort to stay connected with everyone in my campaigns, even outside of sessions.
