Hello WunderMuffen. I just wanted to get to know a little about your group. Are you guys more RP focused or combat focused? I myself favor RP most heavily and I tend to build elaborate characters with solid back-stories (expect a good page or two). That isn't to say I don't like combat, but encounters for the sake of encounters gets a little dull. What makes me enjoy a game is being able to interact with interesting players, stories, and characters. If your game is totally one that can provide that, I would love to be involved. I also prefer games in which the DM spends a bit of time polishing the campaign. Now, some of us are amazing at improv, and more power to the DM if he can do that! The game doesn't have to run with 5 star maps, drawn for each and every encounter, but on planned encounters, something above a lazily hand drawn map and scribbles for tokens would be nice. As for a bit about myself, I am a 22 year old who has been a player on numerous occasions as well as DMed several campaigns. I play a wide range of characters and classes (whatever my next idea at the time is really), but there is a special place in my heart for jack of all trade types. As I mentioned before, above all I value RP and flavor in my character creations (I'll even throw in a mediocre accent or two on occasion). I don't powergame, but I do optimize to a degree. I follow the philosophy that there are no slackers in the dungeon. I'm pretty good about adapting my power-level to that of the group, as there isn't really any fun in the game if you can just steamroll encounters all of the time. That being said, I win by tactics usually, which often means using those obscure mundane items that often get overlooked. ;P I can't commit a character sheet at this time as I don't know what the party currently is. I'm totally cool with playing with a party who lacks certain roles (and often they can be more fun/challenging), but I definitely think it will be more interesting if I am not playing the exact same class another guy is.
