Player Tip Mesurement tool

Do not use measurement tool, it operates only in Broadcast or Not Broadcast (GM See's Regardless), needs a third mode so that you can share with GM otherwise it promotes GM to be adversarial towards players, by design. Players need the ability to think to themselves without the GM trying to pry into every thought. Solution for the mean time cut some graph paper or use a actual ruler.
If the game is players vs. GM, then the measurement tool isn't the problem. The GM sets the stage ; the players react to the world that the GM presents. If the GM is trying to "win", then I'd find a new GM. As a GM, if the NPC is hyperintelligent, then I may use some metagaming to reflect that. If they're not, or if they're below normal intelligence then I'll also act accordingly.

Did you have a question, Wren?  If this is a Suggestion to change the Ruler tool, post it in the Suggestions forum section, and please clarify what you want the Ruler to do.

Hi Wren/Bambi,  This sounds like a suggestion, there is a Suggestion Forum for suggestions. I suggest reposting this there.
