Text locked in place and used as a token

I love to put numbers on the players maps on the GM layer, BUT I would love it to be locked in place and treated as a token, so I put put my GM notes about the room on it. When my players enter the room, I would just have to double-click on my room number to have all of my notes for that room. It works very well in prebought games, because the number IS a token, but it would be a pain to make 52-ish numbered token for it...

That would be so cool, +1 on the idea of allowing anything typed with the Text Tool to become usable as a Token. Workaround: There is a little-known way to get some Number Tokens! Roll a dice like d6 or d20 in chat. You can drag-and-drop the Dice Result onto the Map, then right-click > Advanced > disable "Is Drawing"... it becomes a numbered token in the shape of that dice. Maybe you can use that somehow.
Also, after dragging the die roll to the desktop, you can right-click > Multi-sided > Choose side, and then pick the number that you want displayed.
And you can LOCK the Token position for every token on the map...
