New Yellow Player Ribbon To Move Party Not Working

I had a new map to move my players to and I literally cannot move the ribbon at all. I have no idea if I just don't know how to work it. Help?

Hi Zerro,  Please use the ribbon at the top of the page (marked in green) toolbar, not the ribbon (marked in red) on the page. 

I am very confused on how to move them with this feature. Do you drag from the green mark? Press select all? I have tried many times with that area and am still not sure how to move my players.

You can just click and hold, then drag the yellow ribbon from where I drew the green box. Alternately, click to open it, checkmark anyone you want to move and drag that group of people by dragging one of them to the new page.

Been dragging and dropping from this circled in blue and dragging it to the page, my players keep telling me nothing is moving

This is what it looks like when I try to drag. I get the drag box (see image below).  Are you seeing the drag box? 

This is borderline completely unusable. The only way to move players is still the old way of dragging the ribbon from it's current map to another. This was all well and good until the new update made it so you cant scroll while holding the ribbon. Fix PLEASE I have a session in Castle Ravenloft tonight and this will completely take the wind out of it if I have to fumble for 5 minutes to switch between maps every time.

Hi Ghetto Gepetto,  You can scroll to the map you want then grab the ribbon from the top. 

This is strange to see posted here. Could this be a browser or graphics-card-specific issue? I've had no difficulty with either dragging the yellow player flag from the toolbar to the desired map, or from one map to another. The same for another GM in whose game I play.  I left-click and hold in the center of the flag then drag to the center of the desired map thumbnail. Also, scrolling while dragging is (very) slow, but now with the new page layout that has the tool bar at the top of the screen, I can pre-position the map menu so that the desired map is visible before selecting and dragging the player flag.

Just now coming back to this after taking some time off due to schedule stuff. Sad to say this still does not work. It worked once and now does not work again. The little black pop up after the first line does NOT come up, and I have a session today. This is wildly inconvenient :/ Gauss said: This is what it looks like when I try to drag. I use chrome and never had this issue before the website update.

This comment got me thinking ... do you have an ad or pop-up blocker running in your browser? If so, that blocker may have received an update that is now interfering with Roll20's map menu. Zerro said: ... The little black pop up after the first line does NOT come up, and I have a session today.

Just to check if this is possibly a hardware issue: Do you have a different pointer device or computer you can test from? Also, when the players report "nothing is happening", does this mean they still see the page they were on? Or that they see a black image? These could be two different issues. Also, if you would like someone to come take a look, you can PM me an invite for the game. If it works for me, the odds are it's a local hardware, software or procedural issue, and we can proceed from there.
