Re-enable the ability to drag players to different maps from the names on bottom of screen

Overall, the update to the folders bar is bad. However, the most annoying part is that you removed the ability to drag players to new maps without opening this random extra menu that does not need to exist and only serves to make separating players harder. While you still have a working way to put them on different maps, this method is slower than the dragging option we used to use. Please enable this again. I'd also accept a way to turn off the awful folder update entirely, but I doubt you'd do that so I'll ask for the feature I want from the old one back most instead.

Hi Searaphi,  I am gathering information regarding this issue. Could you describe how the new system makes it harder to separate players?

The folder update was highly requested, so I don't think it is going to go away ever. It replaced the old System a while ago which was put to rest. And with the folders present, the new system makes sense! Just open the golden ribbon dropdown, select the players you want to have on a specific map and drag them from there. As a result, a new ribbon will be created. If you want to merge them again, either hit the "regroup" option within the golden ribbon menu or just drag the other flags on to the golden one...

You now have to open an extra tab to move players, where before you could easily do it by dragging player's names from the bottom of the screen where the player list/pictures are on to the new map, adding extra bloat to what used to be very easy to do. It was only forced on to everyone in the last few weeks, my group has been on haitus for the last month got back to it the other day and noticed the change that I opted out of for the beta before. I highly doubt they'll let us turn it off, but I'd like to be able to drag players around more easily than opening a new tab for it. The "golden ribbon dropdown" as you called it is the new tab I mean. I just want the quicker way we used to have, rather than the newer one that is slower and takes longer. I am not entirely asking for the new system that I'm sure most people prefer to be removed, just a feature we used to have be added to it.

For me (and likely many other users) the new method of "splitting the party" requires less mouse movement on the user's part: dropping down the top ribbon menu, selecting a player, then dragging player name to the map, although involving more mouse clicks, requires moving the cursor a shorter distance than the original method, but that's because of my screen size and resolution. I can, however see how the old method would be easier for someone working with a lower resolution or for someone that may have trouble seeing the player names in the drop-down menu. I up-voted this suggestion because I support the option of giving users a choice on which method to use.
