Hi! My name is Halen, I've been a DM since 2019 and I'm looking to run some campaigns for folks and continuing my journey as a professional DM. I have taught several people the ropes of both 5e & SW5E and have over 3,800 hours logged on Roll20, granted there's always room for improvement and reason to learn. I've played numerous characters as well, ranging from a Christmas elf artificer hell bent on saving Santa, to a human barbarian who made his money as a living statue street performer, and most recently a half orc luchador boxer, disgraced by his clan and all but his biggest fans. Being an active player myself, I like to think I have a good idea of what players tend to enjoy but this does range from group to group, so please, let's talk about it! Communication is key so let me say, in my games it isn't DM VS Players, rather a cooperative group storytelling/improv exercise where most things the mind can imagine, can happen, if the dice allow it too. I tend to be enabling with what players can do regarding shenanigans but I rarely pull punches on dice rolls, positive or negative, and strive to complete character arcs, allowing for an otherwise expired character to continue, for a price. If I sound like the kind of DM you are looking for, reach out to me and let's discuss things further. Campaign Information Lost Mine of Kessel Hosted weekly on Friday staring at 7:00 p.m Central over Discord and the Roll20 VTT. Sessions lasting 3.5 to 4 hours 15$ per player per session. Currently 6 of 6 available slots are open. I’ve run this system for my closest friends in a home brew campaign for nearly 2 years, I earnestly profess, this system is insanely fun and holds immense potential for memorable moments. This campaign is a reskin of the 5E starter set Lost Mine of Phandelver with bold new changes and twists to compensate for the possibility of intergalactic travel, laser blasters, and space wizards, I mean, jedi. The setting will be late republic, a few short years before the outbreak of the clone wars, with majority of the module taking place in the outer rim near Hutt space, working to haul mining supplies to a remote star system. From there, ideally we can use character hooks and developed plots along the way to springboard into a hombrew plot line with the ongoing event of the clone wars inciting incidents and challenging the players in navigating a war torn galaxy searching the vacuum of space for fine additions to your collection.
