Hello, I’m a UK based GM looking to gauge interest in a Saturday morning D&D 5e game. WHEN : Saturday mornings (obviously), largely before 1pm, UTC+1 - exact times would be open to discussion. Initially, I’d be looking to do a one shot or short adventure over a few sessions. There’s potential for a longer term campaign depending on schedules and motivation. WHAT : D&D 5e. I’d like to avoid any classes etc from the upcoming new edition for now. I’d be looking to run a published module as I already have a couple of other games running and would need to keep the prep manageable. I’d favour PC’s at starting at lvl 1, but realise that this may put off those with lots of experience and appeal more to novice/new players. WHO YOU? : Up to 4 players; I’m open to those with experience as well as people completely new to the hobby. WHO ME? : I’m an older player (40s) that has been playing TTRPGs for about 7 years with a bit of experience on both sides of the GM screen. I’m coming back to D&D 5e after playing several other systems so I am looking to build up my skills by working with new tables and players. I enjoy comfortable, lighthearted sessions. I’m not against darker games but I tend to prefer to keep the table to a PG-13 level; above all I want people to be comfortable with the content and empowered to participate to their fullest. WHAT NEXT : If this sounds like your cup of tea, and you’d be interested in discussing it further, drop me a direct message letting me know a bit about you, your experience level, availability and what you are looking for from a game. If we have enough interest to go ahead I’d suggest a short Session 0 before arranging the first play session.
