Hi, I have a game prepared with all the elements and macros to play Descent: Journeys in the Dark Second Edition with all expansions. This includes all the cards and all the tiles (pixel perfect cut to make the map building very easy and nice to see), the custom dices and all tokens needed to play. I made this to play with some friends that now live far away. We all own the game and we produced the images ourselves. The effect is very good and it actually seems to be at the table at times. We used it for many years and it's been particularly nice to play it after the app Road to Legends came out (that basically let you play without a Dark Lord, so fully in co-op mode). Obviously I don't own the rights of the game nor have permission from Fantasy Flight Games (now owned by Asmodee North America. Is there any way I can make my work into a profitable marketplace object?
If it is someone else's work no.  You could potentially sell any custom made assets though (things you made yourself like maps, tokens, etc).  If you made new side mission content you could that as well.  But any original art, text, or story, etc, you can't, as you don't own it or have permission to do so.  Any traced art I wouldn't either. (by traced I mean copied existing art but in your own style, but obviously plagiarized) Someone else can correct me if that statement is incorrect (but I see others selling add ons to existing modules everywhere and custom maps, etc)
