Teleport Script Speed

I am setting up the Teleport script from the Mod Library and it is working great except there is a delay between when a token moves onto a teleport pad and when they get teleported. If the teleport is a trap, they may move off of it before it triggers. Is there a way to vary this response time?
I am using Teleport extensively in my campaign and as far as I know: 'no you can't vary the execution time' I believe that it is dependent on the users processing speed. If you use It's a Trap for your traps when one is triggered it can pull the token back in after it has run buy it though this may cause other undesirable behavior. I fine that the Teleport script is very useful for linking maps together.  When a token moves by way of a teleport pad to another map you can look at the page/map file selection and see where it went then drill down to the page. Also I use Turn Marker 1 which can keep track of turn order on multiple maps at the same time.
