Jumpgate token status marker bug?

So I migrated my game to the Jumpgate server and, I noticed something, the red ex, usually used by us to indicate death or unconsciousness of an NPC, doesn't persist as it should. I toggle the red ex marker. It appears as it should but-- I move my mouse off the token and click something else, the red ex immediately disappears. This doesn't seem to happen with other status markers or colored dots. All those persist as they should What's happening here? So far we've developed a workaround to denote fallen opponents--just use another, persistent status marker, a skull in our case--but I wonder what's happening here.

I cannot replicate this in my Jumpgate games. The red X "dead" statusmarker persists through reloads and exiting & relaunching the game.  Perhaps you have a Mod (API) that is removing that statusmarker?

API Scripter
Hi Mr. Farlops! Since you are a Pro user, is there a possibility that there is a script interfering with the process? You can quickly test by creating a test game and see if the behavior persists. If so, you can try toggling off likely culprits in the Mod screen until you find the culprit. There are a number of scripts that could be doing this, depending on how they are configured.
I get this sometimes too.. it seems to be when the aura/tint healthcolors API is playing up as well (the Api sandbox doesn't indicate errors, but it seems to need restarting more than normal..
