So Deck of DM Things had a clever idea to resolve stealthy infiltration or escape from enemy lairs. He did it with 3D printed tokens on a small snap-in game board. But it seems to me you could easily set up something very similar with Roll20. Just set up a few blank pages with some abstract obstacles and a token for the party of player characters and tokens for enemy guards or monsters. I suppose if you already have an elaborate complex of passages with wandering monsters and such already set up, you probably won't need this. But if the players are suddenly improvising an escape or infiltration and you have nothing prepared, this seems like a fast way to resolve it while maintaining tension. Anyway, I thought I'd share that tip.
