Some enabled compendiums are showing up in-game?

*Title Edit - "Some enabled compendiums are not showing up in-game?" Hi there. This issue was brought to my attention by one of my players. Apparently, there are a number of books that I have enabled/greenlit to be in my game's compendium, and yet they aren't able to be found within the compendium at all. This apparently has been an issue for a long time now, and it's a bit surprising that nobody in my games has noticed this until now. As one notable example, I have the XGE book enabled for my game. And yet I can't find a single item within the compendium that is from that book. Try looking up any artisan tools as an example, Cook's Utensils, Alchemy Kit, etc, and notice that none of the expanded options within XGE can be found in the compendium. Yet when you go into the book, or to virtually any other D&D virtual resource, it's there clear as day. (At least, that's the case for me anyways.) So what's going on here? So far, I have tested this with all three games I run, two of my test servers, and even tried creating a new game from scratch with nothing but XGE enabled, and it's apparently true across the board. So does anyone know if there's a fix beyond going to another site/resource and manually adding in the information that is missing from Roll20's compendium for these companion books? Or is there some workaround? Is Roll20 even aware of this bug?

Hi RJGrayLight,  Could you supply a couple screenshots of the searches for the missing items?  Edit: n/m I see the issue. It is search criteria, not the lack of being there.  If you search for "cook" (without quotes) the XGE entry shows up. However if you put "cook's" (without quotes) it will not.  As for Alchemy Kit, it is Alchemist's Supplies not Alchemy Kit.  BUT, "Alchemist's" suffers the same problem as "Cook's". Drop the "'s" and it will come up.  Alchemist instead of Alchemist's In my testing it is the apostrophe that is the problem.
Sure thing. Looking into a few different items, it seems that it's specifically with regards to items that have apostrophes included.

Just tested searching without the apostrophe, and yeah, that was exactly the issue. Also, I did write Alchemy Kit, but when I search I do search Alchemist's. Guess it's a simple solution, thanks!
Any idea why the apostrophe throws off the search like that? You'd think it'd be a simple fix, right?

Whoever converted them excluded it.  To fix the Devs will probably have to change the Compendium itself to account for missing apostrophes.

Well, good to know. Time to get learning hundreds of new rules and mechanics that my players suddenly have access to! lol

No not necessarily, by changing the Compendium to accept both "Cooks" and "Cook's" as the same thing the Devs can avoid modifying the individual compendium entries.  However, not being a programmer or a Dev I am just guessing which would be the easier task.
Compendium searches are very literal and unforgiving as far as search criteria are concerned. I've learned that I have better success by not using complete words. For example, when looking for something like "Alchemy Kit", I'll just type "kit" or "tools" (without quotes) in the search bar, then pick what I'm actually searching for from whatever list of items comes up.
