Playing Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game Next Game Will Be Wednesday January 08 8:00-11:00 PST. Sessions continue every other week. Total Players Needed 4 (2 open spots) New Players Welcome Mature Players 18+ Voice Discord Language English This game uses the Street Wars campaign module written and designed by Christopher P. Tyner with the Marvel Super Heroes Unofficial Canon Project. It was designed for use with Marvel Super Heroes rpg original FASERIP system. I have compiled it for use with Marvel Multiverse rpg's d616 rules. The game is set in the late 80s early 90s, and begins with a quiet day running errands at a local bank and explodes with action and intrigue into a full-out gang war on the streets of New York City. This is not a long term campaign but I estimate it could last up to 4 months or more depending on how fast players progress through the story. Players will choose from a list of canon heroes between rank 3-4 including: Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher, and Shang Chi. I am capping the the age minimum at 18 years old. It is a marvel superhero game for mature players along the lines of Marvel Knights or Midnight Suns. I will not be policing language, I like dialog to feel real but i'm also not above diving into occasional campiness as long as players are having fun. I am using several homebrewed systems of my own and also borrowing from Fuzzy on the Details. Check out his page here: https://www.fuzzyonthedetails.com . More details in game. Some info on myself, I am an OG roleplayer and have been playing and GM'ing various different games for over 30 years. I put a lot of time and effort into prepping my games and creating an immersive atmosphere to foster roleplaying over rollplaying. This game is pay to play for a couple of reasons: 1. It creates an environment of dedication to the game and attracts more experienced mature players. Too often I have recruited a group of players in free to play that simply aren't committed to the game; they don't show up consistently, get bored easily, and don't want to participate in roleplaying encounters. They can be disruptive and ruin the experience for other players. That being said, I do realize that real life can intervene and I give a lot of lee-way when a player needs to miss a game or two because of real world obligations. 2. When players are paying for sessions it challenges me to be on top of my game. 3. When players are present and committed it can create some very real moments that everyone can enjoy. This game will be held on every other Wednesday from 8 pm to 11pm, Pacific Standard Time beginning Jan 8th.
