Infravision?

Score + 3
In contrast to the Night Vision option, could there be a setting that allows a token the vision option of purely seeing relative levels of warmth, to simulate the early AD&D Infravision? It would also probably require a checkbox option (perhaps defaulting to "yes," but could be manually turned off)  that denoted warm-blooded status, so a token with Infravision turned on and within range would see a reddish rendition of the creature in question.
Night vision with a red tint.
I don't think that's what's being asked for. I think that  Michael S.   is asking for an ability to allow a token with infravision  to see tokens that have a property called "emits heat" while any token without that property would remain hidden. For example, in a dark room, the token would be able to see the warm-blooded goblin, but not the cold-blooded lizard man or the undead wight. That would be an amazing option, but I have no idea what it would take to make it happen! Gargamond said: Night vision with a red tint.

I have an idea on how it might be done with an API Script.  Set a transparent token to stay in the warm blooded creature's space when it is moved. (There is a script for this already, alternately just group the two tokens) Set the transparent token to have nightvision of "0" (or whatever illuminates the warm blooded creature's space) Have the API Script check line of sight from Infravision to Warm Blooded target's transparent token.  If the line of sight is achieved within the proper distance then the token sets the transparent token to be controlled by the player.  That will let the player see from that token's point of view (illuminating the warm blooded target only).  Edit: The only drawback would be that the transparent token would wind up having sight to anything illuminated by a torch around corners (relative to the Infravision character). So maybe it wouldn't work.
