In the Year 1485DR, a Magical Disaster know as Convergence changed the face of Toril as Arcane Energies burst forth causing areas of Wild Magic welled up and overflow. This sudden surge of Arcane Energies and Wild Magic caused mass devastation in some places, leaving them unrecognizable; while leaving others seemingly untouched. This diester even tore through the Parallel Planes of Faerûn, the Feywild and Shadowfell; weakening the boundaries between the Planes, creating points of conflux. Abrupt incursions of all types of Fey creatures, living Shadows, primordial Elementals, and an assortment of abhorrent beast fell upon the continent of Faerûn as a pantheon of New Gods come to usher in a new era on Toril. By the year 1500DR, many tragedies had befallen upon the residents of Faerûn. Traversing Faerûn's Sword Coast has never been safe, but today's dangers are unparalleled: warring Adventuring Guilds, desperate Bandit Clans, roving Undead Hordes, and lurking Verdant Beast; plague the land. Only the truly ambitious seem to thrive in this harsh environment of disaster and destruction. Although there are laws in place and people who are suppose to enforce them; most people only impose the law to serve their own interests. As hardship and adversity run rabbited, many of Faerûn's inhabitances have lost their chance to have an idyllic life; but have come to find solace in the prospect of becoming a noble Adventurer.
