Converting 5e Character sheets to new version in ongoing adventure?

Hello, I am sure this is out there, but I spent 30 minutes trying to find the answer to no avail, so apologies. New GM with new party new to roll20, so learning as we go.  We started with Lost Mines, and used the 5e character sheets  in there.  We have updated them to current status - which is level 4 for characters etc. Is there a way to convert these to the new character sheets?  Mainly this came up because for their Wizard I was trying to import Melf's  into their spell sheet and it says sorry this is 2024 rules need to upgrade to new sheets.  But I dont see how to do that either by (a) converting the old to new, or (b) creating a new character sheet with the new template and just updating it to the level 4 character. Hope that made sense and thank you Rake

Hi Rake,  If you are asking about converting D&D 5e 2014 by Roll20 sheets to D&D 5e 2024 by Roll20 sheets, the answer is not at this time. There is supposed to be a converter at some point, but it isn't here yet.
Thank you Gauss.   So we will continue with our current ones and next adventure create new ones.  Much appreciated

There may be another reason for your player's problem with adding Melf's Acid Arrow into their character sheet: After the 2024 version of D&D was released, Roll20 automatically added and enabled the Free Basic Rules for 2024 (FBR24) to the list of compendiums  for everyone's games. When your player tried to import the spell to their character sheet, they may have tried to add the FBR24 version of the spell instead of the PHB (Player's Handbook) version. If you want to turn off access to the FBR24 material, you can disable it by going into "Game Settings" under "Settings" on your game's start page, then scrolling down to "Content Sharing", where you can de-select it. Thank you Rick for this, I wanted to follow up if you dont mind (and Thank You I didnt even know those settings were there!).  I de-selected 2024, but when I try and add the spell (this also for Chromatic Orb) I only see 2024 option.  All other spells I was able to add and had both 2014 and 2024.

Rake, I see in your screen shot that only the Free BAsic Rules 2024 version of the spell is shown. In the compendium selection part of the settings, enabled compendiums are shown in green and disabled onesd in red (Any your don't own are white). When you changed the available compendiums under the Game Settings, did you save your changes? There are two places where changes need to be saved: Once at the bottom of the section that lists all the compendiums, and another W ay Down At The Bottom of the Game settings menu. Edit: Also, d o you own the 2014 Player's Handbook compendium? If you do have it and it's enabled in your game's list of compendiums, the Melf's Acid Arrow PHB version should have shown up in your search. That spell is not included in the 2014 Free Basic Rules (aka, the 2014 SRD). Also, inside your game, under the gear tab in the upper right of the screen, in the Personalization and Display section, try turning off the New Compendium (the game will restart when you change this). There have been some problems when searching for items using the new format. (This setting doesn't affect which compendiums are available, only how the user interface looks)

This was the key:  That spell is not included in the 2014 Free Basic Rules (aka, the 2014 SRD). I think for next adventure I'll swap to 2024 full time and roll with that.   Thanks again, a lot of learning here I appreciate it
Happy to help!

There were a number of SRD spells that just had the IP-protected name removed: It should have been findable under "Acid Arrow" Nice posts, Rick!
