It probably means that someone was spamming and their post got removed. This forum thread is high in the list of threads and so is a natural location for spam messages. There is no mechanism on Roll20 for you to be singled out to not see someones message.
ok thank you..

There are some on the Dungeonscrawl Discord under #map-showoff room, https://discord.gg/paG7wyHgut I don't know why most people have not been sharing their dungeonscrawl map creations on this thread.
lol wow ok im letting go of this thread if its just ppl not being kool ,
How do you create maps that don't look like a dungeon or cave? I need mainly maps of outdoor scenery, maybe the inside of buildings, but rarely anything below surface. I tried dungeon scrawl briefly, without registering. Do I need to pay (over at dungeon scrawl) for the full range of tools? I do already have a pro subscription at roll20. WIll I then be able to achieve my goals?

WIll I then be able to achieve my goals? Hi Christopher. No, you won't get any more drawing tools by paying for Dungeon Scrawl subscription. The sub on there gives you an Auto-Save, and is useful for exporting extremely detailed high-resolution maps (not needed in most use-cases). The drawing capabilities remain the same on DS Free or Pro. DS can be used for outdoors. It's highly customizable but it is not highly automated. 1 of the Presets on the Left side gives the starting appearance of outdoor buildings (due to the shading). To make it more and more outdoorsy -- You need a bit of an artist's eye, and go into the Layers settings (on the right side) and change the Colors. Another technique is the "Images" (assets like trees you can overlay). Another more sophisticated technique is called Masking if you have something like a grass texture to overlay parts of your outdoor map. Alternatively what you may be looking for is Roll20 map pages capability, aside from Dungeon Scrawl. Using Roll20 to create map pages in your Roll20 game, without Dungeon Scrawl Connect. Which is probably what you've done before based on your amount of Roll20 hours. In that case you can upload (or buy from Roll20 Marketplace) and drag-and-drop to plop down outdoor map tile assets (such as, for example, a Grass Field to start as the base of your map, and then start adding Tree assets on top of that, and maybe draw a road or building with either the drawing-tools or Art Library assets). There are 2 Discord sites that you can ask and enter into a further chat discussion about techniques, with fellow DS users, if you want that, there is the Roll20 Official discord and the older DungeonScrawl discord. If you're not in them, i can get you the invite links, just ask. I would be interested to find out more about your mapping goals, what you've tried before, and what you want it to look like? If you want to continue the discussion either on here, or move it to 1 of the discords (since this thread doesn't get a lot of traffic).
